Did you notice XEyes? xD
Oh man why didn't I think of that? There will be a lot of confused
Windows users in my office very soon...haha.

Finally, a constructive use for xeyes!

How would that confuse Windows users?

You don't know these users. Trust me, stuff moving around on the
desktop background will confuse them =)

I had my sf project running one time (geolocation project that
generates backgrounds of what internet connections you have going),
and the fact that my background changed was quite a shock to some
of them.

Yep, I experienced the same! Somehow I like these eyes. It reminds me of the SuSE's KDE menu which eyes also followed the cursor. (see http://www.easylinux.de/Artikel/ausg...0.2-voll_2.png)

This is gonna seem weird, but it just hit me that the Hello Kitty screenie is Alexvader's.

@Alexvader...seriously??

EDIT: Then again, I suppose I'm no better...my customized Ubuntu 10.04 LTS in VirtualBox. (Maybe I should have given it "innerchild" as the hostname instead of "lucidvm". )

(No seriously it took some guts for me to post that)

Well, Mr. Code: I take it you like Radiance better than Ambiance then? It seems so.

Why? Ambiance is no different than the default Mint theme.

Apparently Mr. Code and Leopard were both complaining about your screenshot.

Don't worry, I've also gotten my fair share of this in the past.

LOL, you took that too far.

I am no where near complaining, but it is very funny.

I'm not complaining either, but I think maybe a battleship or zero or maybe a Honda would have been better than hello kitty ... but some people like hello kitty and take it to the extreme.

when I am i a good mood, i like nonsense screenshots...

The "Light" character of "Hello Kitty", with the Imperial Flag in the background...

This is a bit of what Japan is, the weight of a milennary tradition combined with modernity ... and the contrast is fun...

I have other screenshots that i use in other Desktops... a bit more ... serious... Lulzz as well as some others way more funny... based in manga/amime characters....
