Play Mencoded clips in WMP?

Many are looking for how to play WMV files under linux with mplayer, now I want to look for the reverse. How do you play mencoded video files in WMP? Are there any codecs available?

I know that VLC can play them in windows but I just think it would be nice if WMP can play them...

And I wish you all a Happy New Year
