I think I may have found a place selling cracked software on the net. So I need everyone here to help me shut them down. The company that I payed for the software was OmegaBidSoft so if we can connect them to the other company we might be able to shut the other company down. I was about to report OmegaBidSoft to the BBB, but I need to know what their location is before I can file a complaint. Please help, I need every member of these forums now more than ever. This is just the kind of corrupt evil company like Microsoft we're fighting against as Linux users and I think we should show them that piracy doesn't pay.
Well there's still one problem we need to connect OmegaBidSoft with the company who sold me the pirated software because technically OmegaBidSoft is only there as a medium to insure the pirating company gets their money.
Report them through the proper channels and they'll do all the linking. They'd probably have to do it anyway for the court case and they have greater resources.
Would it be worth while for me to search my local police office's database for connections? Also the web address I downloaded a pirated iso image from may be in my history for Firefox, but since this happened months back I'll need help deciphering it if that's even possible. I'm using the Mac OS X version of Firefox with Mac OS X 10.3 with all the latest updates for the os.
