Pilot a cheap simple distant webcam (up, down, left, right)?

Hi, I would like to find a simple usb device that would have an arm that could be controlled over SSH to move a distant webcam. I would like an USB device that can move the webcam up, down, left, right so that I can see a bit more than a static image. USB would be desired to make is simple and cheap. Would you know anything to perform such desire or dream? Maybe they sell such articles or in electronic shops?

Like Center, go up, go down, ... right and left would be a minimum. The angle for the view is not necessary too much needed. USB is important in this idea.

Thanks

They make pan + tilt IP webcam's already.

They are not usb, they are either wireless or wired lan. And you control them via a webpage.

It would then be possible to combine with something such as zoneminder/motion and create a full scale, motion detecting and alerting camera system.

If you mean as some form of electronics project/kit, then i am sure it is possible, and im sure there would be info online for how to do it, but thats as far as my knowledge of it goes.

Something like this or a uvc camera which can pan & tilt such as the Logitech QuickCam Orbit? You would need to use uvcdynctrl to control it over ssh.
