Now that my ethernet card works...

What kind of router should I get? I have this 2wire one for my DSL (Which is an ethernet/wireless hybrid) so what do you people think I should get instead? (It obviously should work with DSL)

Please note, I've e-mailed AT&T asking for instructions on how to set-up my own router, but I don't think they will give me much information--if any at all--once they reply. So it would be best to tell me now on top of the router you suggest.

I don't know what is the "best", but I just use a simple Linksys home router. Gets the job done, plus people have created their own hacks for Linksys routers. It adds more features

I'd say pretty much any DSL modem/router unit should work for you.

My DSL light likes to blink red a lot. If I call for support, they'll just blow me off because the connection works at the moment. Hence why I'm taking suggestions.

The DSL light blinking is normal. My DSL modem light blinks continuously even when I'm not doing anything. It's nothing to worry about as long as your connection is running smoothly

DSL Light Blinking (Especially Red) = Bad
Internet Light Blinking (Especially Red) = Bad
Wireless Light Blinking = Good
Ethernet Light Blinking = Good
Power Light Blinking = Router is Idle/Starting Up

Sometimes the DSL Light won't blink, and the Internet light is solid red, this is also bad. For a 2wire hybrid router.
