No Internet connection on wmii window manager

I just recently installed wmii onto my distribution from Synaptic, and I've logged out and logged into the wmii session. I'm learning about the commands and how to use this lightweight window manager and whatnot, but my one problem is that when I open up Firefox, I have no Internet connection, does anybody know what I should do to enable the internet on wmii?

Well, open a terminal and post your

sudo ifconfig -a

while in wmii. Also, if you're lucky you could just try

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

ifconfig eth0(1,2,3,4, etc..) up
