No distro next to name in forums.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so i dropped it here. Noticed some people have info next to there posts that says there distro. Mine just has penguin and says linux. Is there a reason? I assume it uses the User Agent info and i've seen Slackware(my distro) logo next to others names.

Yes you need to edit the user agent info in your browser. If you are using firefox, you can get there by typing about:config in the address bar.

The information comes from your user profile. Follow the link to edit yours.

LQers are encouraged to add, at least, some idea of location and their main distro - it helps people parse their posts.

Simon, I reckon JK3mp means the icon at the bottom of his post on the left.
Yours says Ubuntu and on/offline indicator.
JK3's only says Linux.

It's not the Distribution field in the profile.
