need some help with Windows 2000
1) on Win2K how do you find out the date and time that a user logged in and out of...
2) how do you disable the guest account... well thats it... thanks in advance... |
1) probably requires third party software
2) controll pannel/user accounts |
Is this 2000 Pro or 2000 Server?
For seeing when a person logged on, a 3rd party company is probably the way to go, you could go to the local policy and audit successful login's and that would tell you when people logged in. Other then that I don't really know! |
I'd like to see someone asking a similar question about Linux on a Windoze forum :D
|
Perfectly legitimate questions.
1) read the eventviewer (start->run->eventvwr) and check the audit 2) user accounts, open the account and check the box next to "disable" Ta-daaaaaa! |
Gosh
who was that masked man wearing a cape ?? |

The WF people are very responsive to Linux questions, as a lot of us run it. |
