need some help with a java applet

I've never tried to run anything made from Java on Linux and I need some help.

So far, I think I've got JRE installed right. Applets work in Firefox...

I was sent a .jar file that I need to run. How do I do that now?

Oh, I'm on FC4.

Thanks!
