Need Palm OS Freeware

Well, technically, I need windows freeware to use in conjunction with my Palm. I am looking for something (software) that can automatically HotSync my Sony Clie with my PC when I plug the cable in. I have seen shareware for this, but I am too cheap to pay before being assured that there is no freeware available.

Thanks

P.S. I am using Palm OS 4.1, if that helps.

What's Wrong With Linux

I too have a Sony Clie and it works quite well with the Palm utilities that come with just about every Linux distribution. I take it you no longer have the software that was bundled with the PDA - so you don't have the DocsToGo stuff, but I thought the Palm hotsync software for Windows was a free download.

I got the PDA secondhand, and it didn't have Docs 2 Go on it or in the CD's. I never had Docs to Go. I think I found a nice app to autosync now, thanks.

And the application is?
I hate it when this happens. I'll bet the information that could have been here would have given me my answer.
Oh well.
