Exclamation Need help with this: Toshiba T1000SE laptop

All you older people, who ever has used T1000SE computer, please advice me on this!
I have few questions:
- I want to enable hard-ram, but allways after setting configurations like this " Boot priority: Hard-RAM __ Hard-RAM size: 512kb " it resets himself and says "Warning all the Hard-Ram data will be erased etc... Press any key".
So I press space, and allways it tells me "Error reading drive D" (Hard-RAM drive, I suppose).
Is my address numbers maybe wrong, or is my ram module damaged???

May be too late to beg help for that poor LT, made in 1989...
