Need help downloading Slackware

Hi folks
Iam downloading Slackware isos from the http mirrors in this site,Iam using XP ( I was thinking about moving permanantly to Linux) and I have a download rate of 25kb/s (It takes me about 9 hours to get a cd).
The story is that every time ive got 90% percent of the download behind me,the server from which Iam downloading raises an errror and the downloading stops, and the files which I had already downloaded disapeared ( thats 600mb), so I changed the mirror and it happened again.I changed the download manager and it happened again.
Anyone got any ideas>???

hm...if you use a download manager, can you resume to the download and possibly even "scroll back" a bit to make sure there are no errors in the downloaded part?

I used SmartFTP (it's cost-free) when I was in XP and never had any problems.

BTW, since this is not really a distro question (arguably it's a Windows question) this has been moved to General.

Well b0uncer,the problem is that the already downloaded parts are deleted (just on their own). I haaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeee windows, and if i keep using it. I will throw myself out of a window.

Is it possible that you're running out of ram or disk space when this happens?
