Hmm, what kernel are you running, and what's your system comprised of?

You may have some weird timing misconfiguration in your kernel.

I know that it's separate from the system clock, but is your cmos battery still functional?

Talking ahaha~~!

running kernel 2.4.19..

battery is still funtional, i guess ( i asked the same question to the
service person) If battery is not funtional, then the time may get slower, faster, or crazy.. wrong dates, all kinds of crazy things happen...

not like my case, the clock only gets slower... so i believe the battery is still good.

possibillity of messing up with the kernel.. as far as i remember i didn't touch anything that i didn't know... also, i run 3 other machines with the exact same configuration for a few months... the others are fine... The troubled machine starts to act crazy a couple of days ago...

I believe there is a strong possiblity of hardware problem...
Fix me if i'm wrong..

Or is this because what i did wrong in linux?

help me~~!!!! I am going nuts...

cheers~!!~!~@!@!@! beeeeeeeeeeer!!!
