HI all,

Forword: If you are expecting a long and detailed rant about what may are may not be wrong with linux/window$, Sorry, I love Linux and don't use windows. This rant is about a trip to the pet store near me, its in walking destance.

Ok, here I go...I went to pet supermarket to get my fish tank water tested, as I have every week, for almost a year. (I leally like my fish). Anyway, my buddy came with me (He's really into his birded dragon). So I had my water tested after a 20 min wait even though there were 5 people working and 2 other people. And then procided to check out there reptile products. So they seen me holding the box down so that I could see what it says (eye problems). After witch I was rudly asked to leave the store after empting my pockets and unbuttoning my shirt. So I emptyed pockets and took off my shirt, not being happy when she found nothing, she asked me if I had anything with me, to I when on and infront of 5 workers and two consumers, to take off my pants and ask if she would like to do a full body cavity search saying "You know I want to". So I was asked not to return to the store. What did I do?

wow man... wtf is wrong with people!?

I have several snakes and spiders... but the local petland actually would give just about anything (except a decent salary) to have me as their reptile specialist!

I'm a network support technician so i make decent money...

LOL... Do you love it as mucha s I do when you *KNOW* without a doubt, that you're correct abotu something... especially like this.. and they have to sit and consistently tell you that you're wrong... hehe..

A few years ago I pretty much ran the local reptile specialty store... and I actually had some guy arguing with me that it was I couldn't sell Red-Tailed Boas because they were venomous.... $#!@*???

His Support: "Look at it's head, see how it's bigger than it's body.. those are it's venom glands..."

My Response: " No... it's not venomous.. It's a boid.. boids are NOT VENOMOUS... That's its brain... apparently it's larger than yours.." LOL...

Since I was the manager.. I couldn't really get fired..

I think she just wanted to see you neekid. ;) You should have played along with a "Hey babe I have a van out back and we can strip search each other..." :p

I forgot to mention that I forgot to do my landry so therefore I was comando. 8^)

In these situations if you are inocent, just leave and take your business with you. If they won't let you leave then demand that they call the manager and the police immediately.

Actually in this situation (here in Oz) when confronted like this I simply demand the manager imediately and they usually give up the crap and I leave. If not then I want the police there.

I know they are trying to protect their stock, but they are also trying to do it by cutting costs. They can use cameras and store detectives and tag the items with those little radio tags and all the rest. They don't need to harass the customers in these days and times.
