I've recently moved house, and more and more i've found myself drawn to finding reasons to spend time in my kitchen. Whilst the kitchen in my old house was basically a corridor (to the bathroom) with wobbly cupboards and no workspaces, my new one isn't exactly amazing. Despite this, I'm wanting to just "chill" in it, and also it's happily making me want to cook again. I've already made a casserole for tomorrow night in preparation, and touched up the paintwork... Even rigged up A/V cabling so I can plug in my laptop and watch divx (scrubs on heavy rotation currently) while i make cups of tea, just to let them go cold, so i can make more.
what are the 2 devices with the circles on the front under the kitchen sink ?!
i was going to assume one is a dishwasher, but couldn't image having 2 dishwashers ....
but crazier things have happened
My wifes family (gran) came from Ireland, and we have gotten into the irish habbit of sitting at the kitchen table when ppl visit and also just to chill, the seats are comfortable, its near the kettle and the fridge (beer) and as its just off the living room we can still hear our music either on satellite or the hifi.
I like it, its a cool place to hang out (lots of space to throw my junk on the table too) I was gonna cable it but the wife went nuclear when I suggested it,,,, he he so I went wireless instead..
anyay, good luck in your new house
Scott
[EDIT]

hehe, i'd wonder exactly how a large rotating drum would successfully clean dishes. after a short spin, i'm sure they'd be clean, but usable? ;-) we have no dishwasher.. but we do have two tumble dryers actually... very middle class i'm sure.
yeah Top loaders... only thing they mean to me is a very poor "rock" band and an amusing song by the Rutles......
That's normal. Acid_kewpie, you haven't seen a titchy kitchen 'till you've seen mine. Oh, would that I had a digital camera, and then I would show you.
This has to be the strangest thread name I have ever seen, but it made me laugh so that's good. But I have expierenced this also, when I moved I spent nearly all of my time for a week or two in my new room because it was so new.
EDIT: The ads at the top of this page are for sinks , I love google ads.
Dump the 2 "tumble dryers?", and replace with a single washer/dryer (one of those dyson ones if you must, but I'd check the price first Chris), and in the second space put in a DISHWASHER!
I'll promise you one thing, you may feel that you don't need a dishwasher, but once you've had one (?), you'll never bother doing "normal" washing up again!
If my dishwasher broke done later today, there'd be another on in place by tomorrow night - and yes, EVERYTHING goes in it - a brilliant piece of kit!
