The MPlayer for win32 was downloaded and when i tried to play it, it just can't be launched, donno why?

When you open a terminal and type:
mplayer

What happens?

If it scrolls a bunch of things you can do with mplayer, then mplayer is installed. If you want a graphical interface, you have to launch:
gmplayer

In the future, if someone's assistance doesn't provide the answers you need a more specific reason explaining WHY it doesn't help is much more likely to get a positive response. A response of "The above is total bogus" will usually be ignored or followed by flames, so please keep the posts positive and provide helpful info to help diagnose your problems.
Thank You!

Cool

mplayer is a command line tool. You use it like such:
mplayer filename.avi

And if you have questions related to Windows, they generally go in the General forum. However, in this rare case, I think it may be justifiable in the Software forum. I'll split this out and into that forum.
