mp3 extraction / splitter

i noticed a lot of mp3s nowadays are a single track with a cue list that tells the cd burning software where to cut the mp3 and make it a new track, im wondering if there exists software that will take the large mp3 and read the cue file and output an individual mp3 file for each of the tracks.

any suggestions would be great, thanks!

This command line utility seems to do a pretty good job of splitting MP3s into individual files using a cue file

On Fedora Core 2, it was easily compiled after first compiling libmad (it'll complain nicely with the URL from where to grab libmad).

On Mandrake 10.1 Community, an mp3splt package can be found using urpmi
