Media Center on WinXP Pro

I've heard that you can put Media Center, the program from Win MCE, onto a non-MCE OS. Does anyone know of this? If so, How do I go about doing this?

No, I mean run Media Center, the app, on regular retail Win XP Pro. This is a non-linux related question...
