Maximum Linux
What ever happened to "Maximum Linux"? I went to the website, and it was closed! Anyone know what is going on? If so, then please inform me!

About six months (maybe a year, even) ago I stopped going because of the ANNOYING pop-up ads BEFORE the page loaded and AFTER I left.

the magazine wasn't making enough money, so the parent company(imagine media) pulled the plug.

wasn't it like 8 bucks for each issue off the newstand. maybe that is why they weren't making any money, it cost too much to begin with.

Yeah, I paid 8 bucks for it. Got some pretty cool programs with the cd, though. When did they go under?

I was just fixing to subscribe to it, but I went to the website
and saw that it was down.
How disappointing. I really liked it.

yeah. I was going to subscribe too. Same thing happened. Went to the site, and it was down. I only got one issue, which was the last one, and loved it. I still read it everyday! It's too bad, though. Maybe it'll come back, though.
