From two extremes
Medical -- It is quite interesting how versatile medical marijuana is becoming. I never really took the issue all that seriously until I read about the little Kansas girl who was having multiple debilitating seizures every day with no relief through normal medicine but who got life changing help from NORML medicine. Without boring everyone with gory details I have several conditions that come packaged with chronic pain, not the least of which was a stroke roughly two years ago, It's literally 24/7/365 punctuated by (what is now occasional) migraine. Because I despise what OTC Pharmacommerce has done to trivialize real vascular migraine, allow me to point out I'm not talking about an annoying pain in the head but whole body sickness with pain many women say is right up there with childbirth plus often retched vomiting that brings to mind the movie Scanners . No, so far anyway, medical marijuana can't do much about that level of pain but a recent experience with CBD oil was quite a revelation. No alteration of consciousness (no "high" just like what used to be called "Hippies Disappointment") but a substantial reduction in pain and increased ability to actually function. Good, mild, useful stuff! Now I'm wondering if a strain exists that capitalizes on the lowered blood pressure capabilities useful for those suffering from glaucoma that might have reduced the likelihood of a stroke in the first place or at least reduced it's severity. If even just because of CBD oil I can confirm that in my experience medical marijuana is no joke, no scam. It's real and effective medicine and with no euphoria but also no ill side effects. Pretty damned wonderful really. On the flip side - so-called "Recreational" ... Well here's someone elses experience ;) ... --- Modern Pot --- |

Funny how some folks think they have it tough.
Here is tough in my book Quote:
This would be a non issue. Knowing as I know personally how certain members in my town (Police Chief son) gets a bye when wrecking his car with weed in the glove compartment. But a poor hispanic teenager would have had the book thrown at him. Sheesh. http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news...-marijuana-use |

I wish they would just get with reality and legalese it for all uses!

Its like one section of parliament agree to help a situation that has benefits and the other section want to stop it so they look like there doing something constructive... None of them would consider actually using a few braincells and consider all the benefits they could create, that would be too easy... |

I don't smoke cannabis and don't intend to. But I do think it should be legalised.

IMHO the reasons freedom doesn't exist (outside software :D) is simply, if you don't know not to shoot up heroin like crazy, others gonna try to control you but they suck at it.edu Control only-ever does onething: points to failings in eduAMOTHERFUCINGcation!:banghead::redface::study::jawa: Sidenote: if you're not evolving don't touch that dial... :p |
