Mandrake10.1 in the VMware

Hi there

Has anyone has installed Mandrake 10.1 as guest system in the VMware 4.
I couldn't perfectly install it. I have used as host machine WINDOWS XP Pro, using COMPAC Evo N1020v notebook. When I finished installed Mandrake10.1 in the virtual VMware, the screen looks like 4 screens.

Please advise

it's a complicated matter actually, i have so far been able to move into the next era of this problem
which is actually making X work
what you need to do 1st of all
is boot in linux non-fb
the usual terminal window will appear
enter root
drakconf
change colors to 8 bbp instead of 16 bbp
this will allow you to access X in normal linux mode
after that i am still struggling to install vmware-tools i hope that will fix everything
will keep you updated
