Ok. I see that this site is mainly about linux. No one here don't know about windows or don't want to help on windows questions and even insult the one who ask windows questions.

So my questions is why "windowsquestions.org" get forwared here since the situation here is very clear already.
This is no joke. This is really insulting to the people. It's even like a crime.

I don't think your understanding this. The actual redirect is for humorous purposes. In no way does this site ever promote or tell people to type windowsquestions.org to go find and seek their windows related questions. As the General forum here allows any question to be asked, this is mainly a Linux site. You can ask your Window question, we just cannot control how members are going to respond.

So drop the windowsquestions.org redirect as its only humorous and all it was ever meant to be. Lighten up, ask you question and move on..

Yes. I understand it's for humorous purpose. Ofcourse it's fun for u all. But sometimes it can cause others unconvenient and unconfortable. And most importantly it can cause some misunderstanding. So it's the best not to forward it to here. Nobody would harm.

Are you connecting as the default user or are you logging in as a specific user. My fist suggestion would be to remove your user's profile, if that doesn't work I would have tried reinstalling windows over the top of the existing copy which should replace any screwy settings.

I agree with trickykid that flaming windows users doesn't help this community, neither does it better the public image of the free software community. Perhaps it would be easiest if there was a section dedicated to Windows(tm). This way people could find help faster and the flamers would know to avoid it.

Trickychiken: I actually don't know that much about windows, all I ever did with it was to point and click. I happened to salvage that link from a previous thread with a similar outcome as this.
