Losing someone.
Losing someone made me feel empty and sad, but step by step you learn to to cope with it. It is said that it takes on average 3 year to give it a place and taken I am a average guy. I also needed this time I guess. Now I can watch videos of her with my little girl enjoying the great time we had together as she had wished. Gone but not forgotten, so-long my dear.

I too experienced emptiness and sorrow but as time passed on those feelings lost some of their powers.
I'm sorry you lost someone close to you. I bare the same burden-
With sympathy I extend my condolences to you-

My sincere condolences. Core family and friends can be of help at these trying times. Fortunately you have cherished shared memories that help you to get past the lose. It can be difficult when children have the lose and not knowing how to manage the problem. Be open but gentle with the child! Share the past moments with a cheerful heart and allow yourself to provide the same for the child.

You'd think getting older would help one cope with loss. From my losing first pet to the death of my Father, each one is hard. Kind of odd that feeling loss is what makes us humans. I'm sure some animals feel it also.
