Anyone catch this Linux General is now after Linux Software and Linux Hardware. OMG /dev /random here we go again. Now if I only caught my typo's as quickly.
Yeah (out of habit) I've blindly clicked on the second item in the main forum page only to be confronted by a bunch of people asking questions about hardware.
Jeremy moved Linux-General down a few slots as it was getting the bulk of posts and we're having problems with 0 replied posts sliding by due to well... the obscene growth of the site. So that was just a quick tactic to keep newbies from posting in the first forum they see.
jgr220, i don't quite understand why you're say this, what could this have to do with linuxnewbie.org? linux-general is not for random talk anyway, just miscellanous linux problems. This "us vs. them" situation does seem to have subsided a fair amount, but strange comments like that imply that you still want to be insular... oddball
