Hi all
Ive been trying to track down a copy of the lizard installer, but for the life of me, cant.
Just wanted to know if anyone possibly had a copy?. Im not out to create the latest and greatest linux but i basically just want to pull it apart and see how things work. Hopefully giving me a better understanding of how things work

Is that the immitation frog installer? but with different trilateral login parameters?

To be honest ive never heard of the frog installer (does a quick google). The lizard installer was what caldera used to used to install there system ( similar to anaconda for redhat and its derivitives ) ive come across the name enough times in my relivent serches to want to "Fiddle" with it lol. I tried asking sco for a copy and they were Less than helpful" and living up to there new found reputation. At the moment i think lycoris uses it but i cant seem to find the source anywhere.

in the source ISO there's a package name lyzard , i'm not sure is this the one that you are looking for ...

My bad . Thanks Alred thats what i wanted. apprently in its original form its called lizard but lycoris have renamed it lyzard for there purposes. As for lycoris. i have in fact tried the distro, but it's not my thing. At the moment i kinda have a crush on ubuntu, but am using fedora as i need to get a couple of things sorted on this distro lol, no one ever said linux wasnt confusing LOL

i find this Joseph Cheek fasinating , at least for me ...

according to a story , he did asked caldera for their build procedures , guess he was kind of *pissed*off and reverse engineered and stripped down the CD and go figure out himself , , according to that story , "now over a year later i've got just about all of it down 8-)" , and we got this Redmond Linux but now lycoris !! ...

interesting lizard graphical installer , automatic configuration of windows networking , "My Linux System" and the rest , guess if possible i will try it and see how it goes ...
