Yes, it is. The act of taking something that rightfully belongs to something else IS in fact violent. If I were to rip off your leg, that would be pretty violent, wouldn't it? After all, I'm removing part of your body. Well, property is simply an extension of the self, and so taking it is just as violent as taking someone's limb.

I agree that would be pretty violent but what about the candy bar I took all knowingly happy and laughing when the person wasn't at their desk? That isn't violent so your stance on all theft is violent falls short and you would lose that argument in a courtroom or anywhere else.

Regards.

And don't mention the leg again, I know that would be violent unless I was paralyzed and asleep, not knowing you were ripping my leg off...

Woah!....
I think short-bus-boy Weber would do wise to actually check a dictionary. Even if it was only for checking "violence" "theft" and "property".

You do know , what a dictionary is , do you , Kurt?

Not to mention the ultimate discrepancy his statements in this thread make , compared to his remarks in the "Nazi-thread".

First, remember that a word is just a name given to a concept, and I can give whatever name I want to whatever concept I want as long as I explain to you what I mean by that word if it's different from the meaning you give it. Apparently, I have failed to do that, so for that I apologize.

I consider a violent act to be any act that is an infringement of one's own physical integrity, safety, and control of his own person or property. Therefore, all theft is violent because it is an infringement of one's physical control of his own property.

What? That first paragraph made no sense.

"And I consider myself the smartest person in the world... "

What makes your consideration any different from mine above?

Think about it.

As long as you define what you mean by "smartest", that's fine.
