Linux'ish comic!

Here's a small comic about me (nickname "zivs" in latvian means fish, so that would explain why I'm there as a fish. The red faced guy is mean't to be a Tapir (as he runs humour page "Tapiri.lv"), but he surely doesn't look like one ...), made by our work visual artist.

It really explains my nature in choosing software - i'm the only one so far at my work who completely migrated to Linux OS and so far almost the only one who doesn't complain about random PC freezing, crashes or even viruses (athough after upgrading to Ubuntu Alpha version and choosing Opera browser in Beta stages, it's quite changed now) ...

Enjoy!

Symbolism Gallore

I like the Quake logo on the character's chest. But what's with the guy sitting at the meeting with the Imperial Storm Trooper helmet on? Or is that a motocross helmet?

I realize it's a "dream sequence", but burning people alive? I don't hate Microsoft that much.

So, what's the weather like in "Ogre, Latvia"? Really cool name for a town, I'll have to GoogleEarth it.

"Imperial Storm Trooper" is Master Chief from "Halo" game. And yeah, I know Ogre sounds kinda funny and there are several stories including the one hystorical: badges with Lenin and city name Ogre (from times when we were occupied by USSR) under it - tourists bought them faster than anything else just because of the name and person on it...

Ok, that's good! I'd have bought one too!

Oh, man! Heh! I like the art style. And the guy in the yellow suit (last panel) is cool looking.
