It told me that Gentoo was the distro for me, followed by Slackware. Coincidentally I was just thinking about using Gentoo to set up a file and print server. I've been browsing the Gentoo site for a few days to get a feel for it.

This link gets posted all the time ... (personally I find
it crap, but that's only my opinion ;})

And since it's not really a Linux question I'm shuffling this
over to General.

Cheers,

Thumbs up

I got Mepis, Kubuntu, and Debian; in that order. Which makes perfect sense, since I use Mepis as my primary desktop, Kubuntu on my test machine, and Debian Sarge on my file server. Nifty.

That thing seems to be going backwards, 3 or so months ago it got me the right distro, now it couldn't be further from the truth. Also I can't see how you can recommend a distro based on the answers of the questions it asks.
