An interesting article and one which is quite true.

I like the phrase "sub-geek", and I think that he has point about this. Maybe the ones who can use the GUI in Linux well are the best teachers. I certainly can't say that I am Linux Geek, as I don't know that much about the insides, enough to get me going, but not alot more.

Instead, maybe I am a sub-geek!

Thats a good article, I keep giving my windoze friends copies of mandrake and have even set up dual boot systems for some of them, so far I've got a couple of them pointing and clicking away and one that has got so far into linux that he calls me up on the phone so I can give him realtime CLI lessons.

I just installed a copy of Mandrake (7.2) on a friend's Pentium 150 for him to try out Linux last weekend.....

i'll show him how to use it better over time.....
