I know I said I wasn't going to participate in the General forum no longer but felt I'd answer such easy questions:

where is he now?

Not sure, I don't babysit for a living. But he does live in California. Why?

what is he currently working on?

The kernel of course.

anyone met him before?

Yup and we made him hold up a 6 month old apple pie from McDonalds to take pictures with Apple Pie Man.

any latest news about him?

Tried google.com lately?

what do you think about him?

Nice guy and makes a really great OS kernel..

1. He is working on the GNU/Linux Kernel Development at OSDL... I think

1. He's over my house right now with his Laptop running Windows ME.
2. he's currently working on a website for Bill Gates
3. latest news is he's trying out for a Los Angeles CLippers
4. What do I think about him: I dont know but I wished he'd get off my computer taking up hours playing Solitaire and Free Cell.

where? - dunno

what? - im guessing the Kernel :P

latest news? - kernel 2.6.6 being released maybe?

what do i think... i think he needs to get rid of the old crappy 2.4.* kernels and nuke them all, 2.6.* pwns man

I thought he was doing development work for SCO....

Just an answer for the last question:

The man's humble, way too damn humble for what he's created. It's so refreshing, when you compare him to his "peers", like BG, Ellison, and the like.
