Hi there, I just want to ask simple question is there by any chance by any one to sue me because of the interface i create for commercial use

ps: commercial mean not for sale but for the whole my group office and branch which involved arround 40 unit computer to replace winms, this mean i will do mass production, its for my country
( MY ) then for branch ( TH )

Well, you don't mention what about your interface concerns you, or rather, what you think might make someone mad enough to sue you.

But regardless, it would not be wise to follow legal advice from a discussion forum ;)

Laws vary from country to country, and there are even variations in law within country's jurisdictions. If you are concerned about legal consequences for an act, talk to a lawyer. Only a lawyer will have the expertise and/or knowledge to give you an educated answer. Anything else is just a guess, and telling a court "Dark_Helmet on LinuxQuestions.org said it was ok" isn't going to be very persuasive :)

In theory I guess Apple could. But I seriously doubt they care because its for free use and not being sold.

Quicktime is in fact for sale. Haven't you heard of Quicktime Pro?

In any event, if you want to release it, go ahead. Apple has taken Microsoft and others to court over look-and-feel issues and has consistently lost. Badly. If sued you can cite the various precedents.

However in your case you've not only taken the look and feel but also colors and icons that are likely trademarked, so you may have to change those slightly. This is why most Aqua skins vary colors of various buttons from Apple's originals.

IMHO, IANAL, YMMV, batteries not included, etc.
