I hope this is not meant to be advertising....

My advice:
Do not allow anyone to take a knife or a laser to any part of your body unless there is NO other choice. I have a friend who had Lasik, had problems, and had to have it repeated at least twice. Somewhere along the line, he also discovered he had cataracts. As a recent subject of two cataract surgeries, I know that--IF one were to do Lasik, it should come AFTER the cataract surgery.

I had the cataract surgery only because my vision was no longer correctable, and it was becoming difficult to drive. As long as my vision is correctable, the best Lasik practitioner in the world will not even be allowed to mow my lawn....

YMMV
