Rep: Reputation: 16, there is no way to connect 2 computers together in a way that information can be transferred between them. what would be the point to do such a devilish act?

there are plenty of ways. if you have a network card on both computers, just buy/borrow/make a cross-connected cable between them, configure lan and enable file sharing/ftp/ssh etc.

please ask a more detailed question or at least tell us what interfaces /operating systems you have available. then people *may* be able to help.
