KMail question
Hey-
i currently have my email through Charter Communications, my ISP. I have a 10MB limit. I notice that a lot of web-based email services like Yahoo, etc, offer 100MB storage. My question: is KMail capable of pulling mail from a web based server? Do any of these web-based mail providers provide you with the server information? Thanks, -myk |
Some do, some don't. Yahoo provides its mail users with smtp/pop3 server information (something like pop.mail.yahoo.com, different for different users), so you can configure KMail to use it. Just look into FAQ of the mail service you are considering.

That's neither a KMail nor a Linux-question, it should
be moved to General. As for who provides what you could ask yahoo whether they allow POP/SMTP or not ;) Cheers, Tink |
