Just been reviewing some of my posts.

Why do my more recent ones all say that I have only 67 posts?

MasterC 11-25-2002 12:54 AM

You have 68 actually, counting this one, is that incorrect?

If so, you might want to bring it to Jeremy's attention, toss him an email maybe.

Cool

Yeah i noticeed this too, to many users, when they post the posts don't go up, at least not right away. In some threads i saw the same person posting three times and their posts number not increasing, but i though i was only tired, but then i kept on seeing it on some other threads too....

All of your posts always have the current number of posts you have, not the number of posts you have at the time of posting.

Yeah, that's how mine goes anyway, like right now on this thread it says 3686, but right after I hit the submit button, both posts will say 3687, showing the actual number of posts, currently, for all my posts.

I think what NSKL was saying though Jeremy is that the first post would say (if it were me let's say) 3686, and then after I hit the submit button, it would still say 3686, and both posts would say that...

Cool

Yeah, i figured the posts are total number, and i was saying that some ppls post numbers don't change, stay the same as MasterC clarified, but whne i come back after couple of hours they do change to total number of posts like they should be, or sometimes they show for ex: 1 post and later on a different posting but same person and same thread 2 posts, which means as if total number of posts wasn't updated for the first post (where it still showed 1) although total was 2, but whne i visit again all is right, maybe just a problem with the browser updating correctly?
