Is it really Linux or is it the penguin?

I've recently started thinking that actually, it's not Linux I'm interested in at all. I've gained LPI certs, done consultancy work with Linux and done cool things with it. However, I've also started chilling out to some Penguin Cafe Orchestra which has a penguin on one of it's album covers and have taken a shine to Bad Batz Maru who's a grumpy penguin.

Are penguins becoming popular or is it just my fixation. Where will this penguin obsession take me? Has anyone been there?

help.

Just get this and your penguin interest gets one step closer to an obbession. One of the reasons (little reason) I switched to linux is that I could wear things with tux without seeming somewhat hypocritical.

I know what you mean, just recently I had to forcibly restrain myself from buying a full set of 'Eric the Penguin' cards and stuffed toys at my local Birthdays cardshop. And Eric doesn't even look much like Tux

thinkgeek sell some really cool stuff. Took several minutes to talk some sense into myself and consider that Tux pilsner glasses are less than likely to survive a transatlantic passage.
