IRC channel

Does LQ have a irc server? If so what is it? I searched the site but didnt find anything about this.
If LQ doesn't have a irc server, i think it'll be nice to make a LQ chanel on openprojects.net or some such place, so we can all meet there.
Any thoughts?

Ya, i searched, obviously not good enough, did it again and found what i was looking for. But still, people have suggested it, and jeremy said it would be fine with him, only that he needs more hamsters to run in the wheel to make enough electricity to power a irc server.
But can we expect something like this in near future? Within six months or so?

well truth be known, there has been a room for over six months already, it's just that it's a secret, and as such is never used...
