Got my iPhone 5 on release day. Got it delivered and didn't have to wait in line I upgrade every 2 years and since I get it on a plan usually, I don't really worry about the cost too much. On top of that, I sell my old phone so the cost is negligible. Love the phone, haven't found anything as good as an iPhone yet but I keep my eye out (and by "as good", I mean for me, personally).

Nope. I've had iPhone 3 for many years but after Xmas I plan to get a Samsung Galaxy running Android (Linux-based).

No, these tendencies to slap a tablet size screen on a phone defeat the purpose of owning one. I'm still happy with 2 year old Sony Experia ST15i. 65mm x 45mm screen feels just right, if, for some reason, i need larger screen then there are laptop/desktop/TV screens in my house. Small screen lets me chuck the phone in the pocket, not to worry about snapping it in two and get on with my work.

I need a new phone, my HTC hd2 screen is buggering up. I was looking into different phones, I was considering the iPhone, but Im not convinced. the new Samsung galaxy runs android and has a swell looking screen but I bet it eaats up the battery though. I have had issues with android and I'm not sure if I want it again or not.
right now if I had to choose, I'd say no, I'd go with the new Samsung galaxy or the HTC my ex girlfriend showed off to me the other week, .. bitch.

So you have already said but you don't tell us what you base this on.

@ Lim Ying Pio (future computer, Tiger Linux, Linuxplayer2300) do you think after being banned at least twice before you will learn to stop with your 1 line posting style that does nothing for anyone and start actually giving us reasons for your beliefs?

Links? I'm not going to look for anything you can't be bothered to post about properly.

I see you haven't changed a bit.
I'll be lenient though:

consider this your warning.

I know it's not going to add much value to the conversation, but the conversation over this topic is practically dead anyways so meh.
I previously said i'm considering an iphone 5 as my next phone, but also the Samsung Galaxy sIII. I've changed my mind. Since the creation of this thread i've been viewing mobile phones again a little and if i get a new phone soon, it will defiantly be the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD. This phone looks f***ing awesome to me. Good battery life for a smart phone which is something that drives me nuts with most smart phones. Good reception (apparently) which is needed for me in my small town, and it looks sweeeet. Personally, i wish it was a little smaller, like my current htc hd2, but phones seem to be moving in that direction and there's not much i can do about it. My htc hd2 was almost perfect (except battery life), i love this phone, gee i wish my screen wasn't faulty. I have to withdraw my sim card and insert it into my classic 12 button phone simply because my htc hd2 isn't reliable.. sigh
