Intel LGA 775 EM64T, can I use any Socket "T" motherboard?

Hey there all your hard core hardware nutjobs!

I'm wondering if all Socket "T" motherboards support all socket "T" CPUs?

I know, generalizations suck, but I figure since Socket T is so newish, that the answer is yes. But it seems there are 32 bit and 64 bit socket T CPU's, Dual and Single core, so I'm just seeing if anyone has a definitive answer.

Thanks!

Cool

I've only used em64t xeons in supermicro motherboards... (so far)

Socket T is a Socket 775, and vice versa, etc. Socket T's (same as a socket 775), are usually for Pentium Ds, and will be used for Intel Core 2 Duo, when it is released.

It is all the same

Socket 775 has plenty of single-core CPU options, a handful of which do not even have AMD^H^H^HEMT64 ;) extension support.
