Installing redhat Linux 9.0 and Windows 2003 (trail 180 days)

hey hey...b4 u start thinking that this is a comparison thread ...stop...right here...

THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON THREAD...!!!

I have a (ONLY ONE, 4 KB , FAT32 Partition) bad sector on my C: drive (that has be detected by chkdsk utility) on Windows 2000 ....(and why am I using windows...and asking questions about it.....in linux forum????...)

well, my college course curriculum has things that I can do in Windows nicely....instead of redhat linux....(The biggest thing...Visual BASIC !!)....

ya...may be that can work with WINE....but then..I am using Windows XP in college ...(tht's what we have in our computer lab in colllege)...so...using windows at home for the same purpose....

ok...now..I have to install Windows 2003 on that C: drive of 6 GB with one bad sector....

and redhat linux is free from any prblm...but I have installed a lot of things in redhat so will install it again in the same place...

but the main question is...

Can I install ....Windows 2003 in that C: drive....do I need to do something specific.....

I want urgent replies...plz helpl....

If you reformat the partition during install the bad sector should get marked bad and not used.
