Thumbs down imagic os

First I don't know if i should post here or somewhere eles , so if the mods could put this thread in the right place thank you. I am not new to linux but now i feel like a total newbie..my story starts with going to distro watch and seeing what was new , thats where i came across a linux distro/windows crossover call imagic os. So i did alot off reading up and to my surpize there where some good and some bad comments , but isn't that always the way with different distro. So here where the real story starts , i could make this real short and tell you with 2 words STAY AWAY!!!. I paid $19.99 for this so call distro which by the way should have Never been adv on Distro Watch. I dl imagic os booted it up and to my surpize it has a very cool gui but that where it stops. The only thing that work on it for my computer Dell 1545 was the wire Marvell 88E80XX 10/100 Ethernet Controller , good no problem..i can still email support and get this thing workin. so i fired off a email to support and within a couple off hours they send me drivers for my wireless (WRONG) i send another email back to them explaining to them that i was having problem's with usb , no wireless , no video , crashing and to my surprize again 3 days later i have heard nothin from them . the email i sent told them that there os wasn't ready for the market and lets get this right and move on , but if they don't will they would have to pay the piper. Also join there forum but have not been aloud to post ..this is taken from there web site SUPPORT
Our support team is just waiting to help you solve any hardware or software issues, even create custom patches just for your problems. With either email support or live chat, we are always ready to help you with your computer problems. Anyway save your money or spend it on a distro thats is not trying to make money or in my view does not make false advertising.Again shame on you Imagic os and DistroWatch for even letting them on your site.

iMagic OS is a commercial desktop Linux distribution based on Kubuntu. Its major features are ease of use, bleeding-edge desktop, easy installation, and compatibility with Microsoft software.

Hmm,.. The expression "Bleeding Edge" doesn't inspire confidence either, if one were looking for something stable.

I'll suggest that we move this thread over to /General. If the OP feels that's not an ideal location, feel free to click REPORT and suggest a better location.
