ibook vs powerbook

Hi,

Can anyone tell me why I should pay a lot of extra money for a 15' 1.33 ghz G4 powerbook over a 14' 1..3 ghz G4 ibook? Apart from the screen size and graphics card, neither of which I care about, is there any significant difference? I cant finds any on the apple page..

Cheers,

Mark

-built-in wlan & bluetooth
-10/100/1000 ethernet
-pc-card slot
-backlit keyboard
-automatic screen brightness
-takes 2GB memory
-has firewire 800 in addition to fw400
-s-video out
-full-size DVI output port
-metal surface
-credible

you deside. ibook is good and cheap, pb has a bit more options that you may not need always, but when you do, they are worth the extra $

considered a dell?

and if you arent gaming on it and are just using it for school/work/internet/etc., id go with the ibook, although definetly get airport with it too. the ibook is more rugged, looks cooler(IMO) and is not as overpriced.

for me persoanlly, other than aesthitics, video card and wifi, i see absoutely no need for going with the powerbook.

but if you really just want to do school/work/internet, then i see absolutely no problem getting a cheapo dell inspiron 1100 with windows xp for about 700 dollars and then you can install linux on it too.
