I know nothing about computers so I need some major help installing printer


I know nothing about computers. I have a gateway lap top with vista I need to hook a printer that was given to me with no instructions or cd . How do I go about hooking this up so I can use it. The printer is a lexmarkx3430?

You can easily find Windows drivers by visiting the Lexmark website. Go to Drivers and Downloads, select the exact printer model and proceed to download the driver. Once you have it on the Desktop, double click and follow instructions.

Not sure I've heard of that distribution of Linux
