Just got that one, Ed... heh heh... guilty as charged, I guess, but threads I murder usually die from prolonged exposure to hot air... not used to seeing one go silent in this fashion, where one could almost suspect that intelligent people are too busy examining some controversial evidence to leap back in without thinking things out beforehand. That, I have found, is quite typical of the crowd here at LQ; I attribute it to higher I.Q.s than one encounters most other places.
Glad you're working, if it's honest work... precious little of that about lately.
Discussing kids (young adults and nearly-so's) with a friend night-b4-last, came to the conclusion that despite the Great Recession, young folks are basically doing what we did at that age: working (or, a lot more often now, looking for work) so they can buy a car, get their own place, and party freely with their undoubtedly equally-liberated, equally-well-heeled friends.
Me, I'm trying to buy my retirement home... a derelict pirate ship I found in Key Largo last week. It's in awful shape, should keep me busy for a year or two. A real job would definitely cramp my style at this particular time; don't need a car, got my own place, and hearty-party went wandering off without me decades ago. !8--{D
