Posting in the correct forum is always a good start ........

Start answering questions instead of asking them. You get that "feel-good" feeling that you helped someone solve a problem. And search for you answers before asking always helps. Also, ask good questions with good details and you get great replies, instead of making members probe your questions for more details to solve the problem.

And lastly, take a lot of Drugs might help! Or alcohol consumption might help as well! (kidding of course)

If you post a problem then work out a solution independently then please post it back so others can find it.

 Go on your knees and thank your Higher Power that you work in Linux not Windows (an assumption). :tisk: Unfortunately , they currently seem shatterproof. :D :newbie:

You hit the nail on the head Trickykid, I learn more about Linux trying to find answers to others questions then I would ever have thought. It really get's you thinking in different directions then you would if you just posted something when you had a problem.

Computers mean different things to people, some use them as a tool others want to know how the tool works. Either way, for me the jurney is far greater then reaching the destination.

Reviving year old threads is fairly popular. You could try that.
