How old is everyone around here?
I'm almost as old as my Wireless G is fast.

I'll be a half a century old this year.

And, I didn't read all the latest posts, but I see it has become some sort of 'speed' thread... My slackware 9.1 P-II 400 Mhz machine is faster than my Red Hat 8 P-III 866Mhz machine!

All threads do slde out from the topic now and then.
Specialy when they come over a unknown number of pages. That's just natural.
I've noticed that trying to force someone back to the thread usually works opposite.
*puts that to rest*

Welcome to the new ones here

Forced to use Windows by day, Free to run Linux by night. Oh how my ethics have crumbled with the sight of a pay cheque...

31 (nearly 32) / male / Dartford, Kent (where Mick Jagger comes from - but not Keef, unfortunately)

Currently feeling totally bitter, 'cos I've been told that I'm probably not getting a work laptop until the end of the month - so my Linux partition on my laptop is being taken up by Win2K. And I work for a huge computer company. Aaaaargh!

(Sorry, had to get that off my chest )

Frankly, I am astounded at how huge this thread has become.
