just askin' :D

slakmagik 08-07-2003 03:01 PM

I pronounce it "The best browser in the world!" :D

I also say 'Moe (Larry, and Curly) zilla (thrilla in manilla)'.

Rhymes with Godzilla :p

If I'm shortening it, I say "Moz" (as in "mahz") . But the long form is "Moh-zill-uh"

I've heard one or two other Englishmen use a similar pronunciation: Mottzilla. with the accent on the first syllable. Dunno where they get that short O and hard Z from.

I use Mo' zilluh. Soft Z, with the accent on the I.

As an Englishman (and dont forget we invented the language :) ) everyone I know pronounces it as:

Moz Zilla

The Moz bit rhymes with 'was', the zilla bit as in Godzilla. Mind you, in England the variation in accents between one town and the next is remarkable, so who can say what is right!

Why are you guys responding to a 3 year old thread.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH. We are responding to an old thread because it is our right to respond to threads.
You are a moderator. What rules have we broken by responding to this thread?

I don't see any posts from you in this thread (apart from the one I just quoted), so I am not really sure why my comments bother you. Obviously everyone is free to respond to a thread if they desire but at times there is no point in resurrecting old threads. You also seem to have missed the humour.

Whoa... calm down. I was just saying.
