Hotmail user's: M$ are giving out your e-mail address

I just thought I should share this with anyone that has a hotmail account, if youve noticed more spam than usual in your hotmail account click on 'options' once youve logged into it & then go to 'personal profile' & down near the bottom you have an option that says share my e-mail address with bla bla bla, I definitely didnt specify to share my e-mail with anyone when I was signing up for a hotmail account but it was still enabled

By the way, I was only able to access my 'personal profile' in hotmal from internet explorer, When trying to access it from Galeon & Mozilla M$ kept telling me to upgrade internet explorer (In true M$ fashion)

Just thought I'd share that

I only have one for msn messenger access. Besides that, I block everyone that isn't on my list and second, I signed up not giving my correct info.

Hotmail get 5-6 spam per day even if you turn on the filter to the highest level.

Yahoo mail is much better...,also it doesn't make you load slow MSN page like Hotmail does when you logout your mailbox.

Yep, unless you PAY them, you lost your pop access. Jerks!!!

So I switched to eudoramail.com Not too shabby, yet. I am gonna start checking out what it takes for me to recieve mail and send mail without a freakin server (use my PC as a server ).

hey guys,
Yes Yahoo DID pull away their POP3 access. needless to say It got me mighty pissed.

Anyways, I recommend www.hotpop.com as an alternative. Its free, and you get a 10MB mailbox. Messages are limited to 500KB though

p.s
