Homeland Security -- you gotta see this
 

Ok im all for having a secure homeland, maybe i was against the desicion to go into Iraq and other places that bush has been, but i have always been behind our troops.

When the homeland security scale came out i thought it was absolutely rediculous -- this scale coming from the goverment that told us to use saranwrap and duct tape to secure our house from a biological attack.I mean come on the reason that duct tape was invented was to seal ducts, but it wasnt air tight so it isnt used. How is that going to stop us from dying.

Anyway, aside from my rant, i was surfing the web and was at yahoo reading tech tuesday and then i saw a link for something that i thought couldnt be ture. Well it is. It is a desktop monitor for the terrorist threat level. COME ON!

SERIOUSLY! Do we need another program to slowdown MSucks any more? let alone a program for the completely paranoid person who is too scared to step outside because the threat level is HIGH. It brings me to the question, what other programs are pacaged with this that tell the government where you are?

I know that the answer to this question is none bacuse it is only 91K but still i feel like big brother is watching me or something.

Well i think that i have finally vented my feelings for the totally idiotic, pointless, and overall P.O.S. that some stupid person made.

Please dont yell at me these are mearly my thoughts on a stupid program that i found on the internet and they were not intended to offend or hurt anyone in anyway. I mearly started this threat to see what others thought on the subject, and to give some people some laughs. I know that my brother and i had some great ones when i discovered this pointless, yet hilarious piece of software. -- or should i say crapware?

Lmao, I think theres alot of nascar loving windows abusing liberal hating people who would love that program. I'm just glad i live in Canada and don't have to put up with that bs.

anyways id like to see the seranwrap theory tested, they should get bush, put him in a seran/duct tape tent, in a glass dome, and fill the dome with nerv gas, lots of nerv gas, if he dies, then whoever at the government that died that was an idiot, and most of the worlds problems will be solved (temporally tho)

That dosnt matter, Theres trillions of dollars of waste by the US government and has been for probably 100 years, besides, 100 billion dollars is a drop in the bucket compared to the revenue that is brought in. My point was that at least I am getting taxes back that I should not have to pay to begin with and with one of those other idiots I would be paying more taxes and not seeing anything from paying more.

So lemme get this clear, you don't care about driving the country into deep deep debt, as long as he sends a couple hundred or thousand bucks back to you? Hell, why don't ALL countries go into huge debt and give money out, itll get you votes! Maybe you really oughta think about issues before you talk about things. I'm with Pauli on this, besides, i heard that only the top 1% of the richest Americans were going to get the moneY?>, if they are that rich they don't need it!!!!!, they should be paying more!, .. and also the government needs to learn how to spend less, say reduce the military budget by 30%, that should give you enough things (and force the military to not spend so much, and become more efficiently)

and i do believe that the government needs to be separated more, let congress handle the military forces outside the country (they are after all the only ones that can declare war, so it only makes sense they should control US forces, and not the president),, , and as for the president?, who needs em?, just let a small group of people get elected, each can manages there own little task, one gets security (security inside the US, not outside, thats the congress's job now :) ), one gets accounting, etc, etc........ that way an idiot cant singel handedly drive us into the ground with wars, and tax cuts (how can you even think of having a war, then cut taxes!, it makes no sence!!, esp when your alrdy in dept!)

Actually who exactly are we in debt to? How can we owe ourselves money? Yea we are trillions of dollars in debt... but _HONESTLY_ we can only print so much money before the dollar loses value...

And just so you know, the money my family got back from the gov't was a big help. It wasn't the rich people who got money, it was married couples w/ children.

And why doesn't anyone ever bring up the fact that Clinton went to war without anyones permission?? When Bush does it, OMG let's all freak out and talk trash about him. But when Clinton messes around in office AND sends our troops to fight without permission, he gets re-elected and everyone loves him? Hmm...

Well you heard wrong, I received a tax cut and everyone i know did and im not in the 1%. What makes it fair to tax someone just cuz they make more than someone else? No one should be paying more just cuz they make more thats absolutly unfair. I agree with you on cutting the spending and the military but I would cut it about 50 percent and rely more on tactical nukes instead of conventional weapons. Nukes are more efficient and cheaper.

It is all a bit strange, in theory I guess we could have a monumental dept forever - I remember that ross perot guy babbling about how the next generation has to pay it back -- but this generation doesn't have to pay back the previous one??

BajaNick:, yea good point, but as it might not seem fair, taxing a extra 1-2% on people that are filthy rich wouldn't be very unfair, just as long as they can keep a good quality of living...

and about that tactical nuke stuff, sadly those are horrible dangerous fission devices like nukes radiate people to death, and even tho it doesn't enaliate everything around it, it will kill anyone living by burning them to death, fission/fusion devices shouldn't ever be used as weapons, they just kill to much to horribly,

precision bombs however just kill people and don't send out dangerous rotation that'll burn people, and torture people
