Apparently, not content with going after IBM, $CO have now set their sights on SGI. Haven't they learnt anything from history? A war fought on two fronts stands very little chance of succeeding.

Not that they had any chance of winning even if they'd just focused on IBM...

I think SCO is also going after Novell.

Nope but I think there was something about Novell owning the rights to unix V before SCO that is probably where you got that from...

I think I read that SCO only own the rights to licence Unix V and that IBM sold them that right as long as IBM was granted a perpetual licence. SGI, I remember reading, also own part of Unix (I forget which part).

Since there are so many fingers in the pie I think that SCO has no chance of getting it's slice!

Yes, you are quite right, $CO has dismissed Novell's claims that their software was free of disputed code and are pursuing a case against them too. They truly are a bunch of morons.
